The Company is looking for a Systems Assembler to work in our busy Systems department, building voice evacuation and public address equipment into 19” racks and bespoke enclosures.

The Role:

  • Permanent, full-time
  • 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (Friday AM only)
  • Profit related bonus

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in all aspects of systems build
  • Build VA/PA equipment into 19” racks and bespoke PA/VA enclosures using technical drawings
  • Carry out mechanical assembly as well as rack wiring and cable looms
  • Carry out various systems build administration within the Project folders
  • Use of QPulse quality management software
  • Understand the principles of 5S workplace organisation and carry out audits in their area
  • Any other tasks as directed by the Systems Manager or Systems Team Leader

Person Specification:

  • Experience required in mechanical assembly, rack wiring and cable forms
  • Experience in using technical wiring drawings
  • Experience in the use of various hand and power tools
  • Health & safety awareness
  • Experience using MRP/ERP systems useful
  • Competent using Microsoft Office suite
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Friendly and approachable
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Confident, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work under own autonomy
  • Pro-active, with a desire to identify and adopt best working practices
