Reliable Communication in Emergencies

In an emergency, it’s critical to have reliable communication methods to quickly alert people and prompt them to take necessary actions. Traditional fire alarms, such as klaxons, may not be effective in places where people are relaxing and enjoying themselves, such as theme parks, cinemas, and hotels.

Proper planning, staff training, and the right communication equipment all play a crucial role in ensuring the safe evacuation of the public and staff during emergencies, including fires and bomb scares.

Solutions for Controlled Evacuation

Baldwin Boxall’s VIGIL voice alarm systems provide a solution for controlled evacuation in leisure environments, such as cinemas, holiday complexes, museums, and swimming pools. The systems feature pre-recorded voice messages, sophisticated yet user-friendly zoning and routeing, audio path monitoring, and dedicated battery backup.

Customised Solutions for Any Environment

Baldwin Boxall’s leisure audio management systems are individually designed and configured from the well-proven VIGIL range of voice alarm products. The modular design offers great flexibility and allows us to provide a complete solution for any leisure environment.

Additional Safety Requirements

In addition to voice alarm, an EVC (fire telephone and disabled refuge) and emergency assistance/toilet alarm system may also be required to ensure that everyone, including those with disabilities, are taken care of during an emergency. Installing an OmniCare or CARE2 EVC system can meet this need.

Total Assurance for Safe Environments

All Baldwin Boxall systems are designed and built in the UK to a very high standard, with a focus on reliability and longevity. Our systems comply fully with relevant standards, including BS5839-8, EN54, BS5839-9, and BS8300 (for the emergency assistance disabled toilet alarm).
