We were delighted to welcome Thomas Korthals and Friedemann Wüstner of Laauser & Vohl to our factory last week to celebrate our 20 year relationship. Laauser & Vohl has been our distributor in Germany since 1996 and we have enjoyed a fantastic partnership during this time – both as a business and as friends.

Following the visit, Thomas posted on Laauser & Vohl’s website the following news piece:
(NB: this is a literal translation to English) Nick Baldwin of Baldwin Boxall from the English Crowborough and Thomas Korthals from Laauser & Vohl GmbH had reason enough to celebrate, but it was a very unusual anniversary. Since 1996 Laauser & Vohl has been distributing the language alarming systems of the British market leader Baldwin Boxall exclusive in Germany! In addition to classic ELA products such as the Midas 100V mixers and power amplifiers, Laauser & Vohl already introduced the VIGIL 1 series of voice alarm technology to the German market according to the British standard BS5839. At a time when this topic did not play any role at all, Laauser & Vohl GmbH already planned and implemented complex speech alarming systems consisting of analog crossbars, modular amplifiers and line monitoring modules. At the end of the 1990s, a major SAA project was already successfully implemented at the Allianz Versicherung insurance company in Stuttgart.
Baldwin Boxall and Laauser & Vohl are also moving forward in the age of global efforts towards standardization: High-efficiency Class-D amplifier technology, digital crossbars, programmable touch screen stations, impedance monitoring, end-of-line monitoring and UPS in the highest European manufacturing quality The current EN54 standard characterize the product portfolio. In this way, the most demanding projects, such as Messe Berlin, can be implemented reliably and with first-class results.

Grund zum Feiern hatten Nick Baldwin von Baldwin Boxall aus dem englischen Crowborough und Thomas Korthals von der Laauser & Vohl GmbH wahrlich genug, ging es doch um ein nicht ganz alltägliches Jubiläum: Schon seit 1996 vertreibt Laauser & Vohl die Sprachalarmierungssysteme des britischen Marktführers Baldwin-Boxall exklusiv in Deutschland! Neben klassischen ELA-Produkten wie den Midas 100V Misch- und Endverstärkern brachte Laauser & Vohl damals schon Sprachalarmierungstechnik der VIGIL 1 Serie entsprechend British Standard BS5839 auf den deutschen Markt. Zu einer Zeit, als dieses Thema hierzulande noch gar keine Rolle spielte, plante und realisierte man bei Laauser & Vohl GmbH schon komplexe Sprachalarmierungsanlagen bestehend aus analogen Kreuzschienen, modularen Verstärkern und Linienüberwachungsbausteinen. So konnte bereits Ende der 90-er Jahre ein bedeutendes SAA-Projekt bei der Stuttgarter Allianz Versicherung erfolgreich realisiert werden.
Auch heute im Zeitalter der weltweiten Bestrebungen nach Standardisierung gehen Baldwin Boxall und Laauser & Vohl vorne weg: Hocheffiziente Class-D Verstärkertechnik, digitale Kreuzschienen, programmierbare Touchscreen-Sprechstellen, Impedanzmonitoring, End-Of-Line-Überwachung und USV in höchster europäischer Fertigungsqualität nach aktueller Norm EN54 kennzeichnen das Produktportfolio. So lassen sich anspruchsvollste Projekte wie beispielsweise die Messe Berlin zuverlässig und mit erstklassigem Ergebnis umsetzen.
