Tell us about your role at Baldwin Boxall…
“I spend most of my time working with our customers and distribution partners across international markets, especially in the Middle East, helping them choose the right solutions for their projects. I regularly deliver product training, provide technical and sales support and work closely with partners to help grow their business.”
How long have you worked for Baldwin Boxall?
I joined the team in January 2024.
Do you have any hobbies outside of work?
I enjoy the outdoors, especially when the weather behaves itself! Hiking is a particular passion of mine and over the years I’ve completed the National Three Peaks Challenge twice, climbing Britain’s three highest mountains; Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon, within 24 hours.
I’ve also completed the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge, a 24 mile trek covering the three highest peaks in Yorkshire in less than 12 hours. Most recently, I completed the 100 mile Heart of England Way, walking from Stafford to Bourton-on-the-Water. While the stunning scenery is hard to beat, I have to admit that the best part is the pub at the end… and quite often along the way too!
What was your first job?
I was an apprentice mechanical engineer at Pirelli.
What one thing would you change about the industry you work in?
This really applies to all industries. I’d like to see more emphasis on innovation that improves people’s lives, with success measured not only by profits, but also by the positive impact products and technologies can have on society.
If you weren’t doing what you’re doing now, what would you be doing?
Brushing up my skills as a pub critic!
Film or box set – what are you watching now?
I find modern TV too time consuming with the endless seasons, so television doesn’t get much of my attention these days. I find YouTube to be more interesting.

What can’t you live without?
Peace and quiet. I don’t mind hustle and bustle, but having a space to recharge is very important to me.
What building would you like to be locked in overnight?
The Vatican Secret Archives! Anything with “Secret” in the name has got to be worth a peruse.
What would you do if you were Prime Minister for the day?
Sack all of the politicians and then myself.
