Ensuring Safety in Transport Hubs and Concourses
In crowded public places such as airports, train stations, and sea ports, it is crucial to have effective communication systems in place. In the event of an emergency, standard alarms are not always effective in alerting the public, which is why it is important to have a multi-zone voice alarm system like VIGIL3.
Baldwin Boxall’s VIGIL EN54 certified systems not only provide public address capabilities but also ensures clear and concise instructions during emergencies. A voice alarm system has pre-recorded voice messages that can be in multiple languages, ensuring controlled evacuation in any situation, be it a fire, bomb threat, or any other emergency.
VIGIL Voice Alarm systems are fully monitored and designed to work even during power outages, making it a reliable method of communication. In addition to automated phased evacuation, the system offers a range of benefits such as live public address broadcasts, background music, ambient noise sensing, timed messaging, and more.
Flexibility & Control
VIGIL is modular and provides great flexibility in system design. With a range of control options, including a touchscreen paging station, radio microphones, and fire officers’ microphones, we can provide a complete solution for any project.
Disabled Refuge and Fire Telephone Systems
In addition to voice alarm systems, many buildings may also require disabled refuge, fire telephone systems, and emergency assistance toilet alarm systems. Our EVC systems offer three solutions to meet these needs: OmniCare (loop wired), OmniCarePLUS (for larger networks) and CARE2 (radial wired).
Regular maintenance and system checks are important to ensure the reliability and effectiveness of any communication system.
