Message From Manufacturing Director Bob Schulz
Over the past 12 months, we have continued to experience substantial growth in the business which has allowed us to expand our manufacturing capacity. July saw the completion of two phases of building works at our Crowborough factory, which consisted of constructing mezzanine floors throughout units 1-4 and further expanding the manufacturing factory space by around 300%.
The addition of 180 solar panels to the rooves of both Unit 17 and St Florian will ensure that our carbon footprint starts to reduce in size.
These exciting steps would not have been possible without the exceptional orders and relationships that our dedicated staff maintain with our loyal customers. For this, we thank each and every person involved for their contributions, ensuring we attain our mission statement: ‘Life safety, for every building, for everyone, everywhere.’
Manufacturing Director
On a personal note, I am elated to share that the Baldwin Boxall Boggy Bunch completed the Pretty Muddy 5k obstacle course in Brighton and raised a fantastic £5,870 for Cancer Research, making us the top fundraising team in our heat! The day was indeed, very muddy, and also a lot of fun, raising money for an incredibly important cause, close to many of our hearts.

News & Views
Factory expansion complete
Over the summer, the factory expansion saw its final phase of work completed.
Units 1 – 4 of the St Florian site were completely refitted by knocking down the walls between units 4, 3 and 2 to connect with unit 1, building a mezzanine floor across the entire space and installing a goods lift to enable a seamless workflow.
The directors and staff are enjoying the improved work areas.

Expanding Our Reach with Haven Fire & Safety LLC in the UAE
Significant progress is underway to promote Baldwin Boxall’s products and services in the UAE through Haven Fire & Safety LLC, based in Dubai. Haven is actively working to have our Public Address and Voice Alarm (PAVA) system approved by local authorities. Additionally, Haven has undergone training to conduct lunch-and-learn sessions with integrators and engineering consultants, fostering greater awareness and understanding of our systems.
Furthermore, Haven will receive advanced training to commission and support our systems across various areas in the Middle East.
This partnership underscores Baldwin Boxall’s commitment to expanding its market presence and delivering exceptional service and support in the Middle East.
New Distribution Partnerships Hedengren Norway
Jason Allen, our Export Sales Manager, has successfully entered into an agreement with Hedengren Norway to supply Emergency Voice Communication (EVC) systems across the region. Hedengren, renowned for its advanced technological solutions and high-quality system integration, serves various industries including commercial buildings, industrial sites, and public infrastructure.
The initial focus of this collaboration is to enhance emergency communication systems for schools and campuses throughout Norway. Each EVC system will be directly connected to local police stations, providing an immediate alert mechanism. This application, while slightly different from traditional EVC use cases, underscores the versatility and capability of Baldwin Boxall systems, paving the way for expansion into new markets.
By leveraging Hedengren’s expertise and Baldwin Boxall’s flexible solutions, this partnership aims to significantly improve safety and emergency response in educational institutions across the region.

We’re proud to have secured an ongoing project with SNCF, the French national railway company to supply them with voice alarm solutions.
St David’s Shopping Centre, Cardiff
Our team has successfully won the bid to install 3 x Eclipse5 and 2 x VIGIL2 voice alarm racks within this major retail hub in Cardiff.
House of Fraser
We’re excited to announce our involvement with House of Fraser in their Maidstone store. A VIGIL2 voice alarm system protects staff and customers daily.
25 Bank Street Canary Wharf
This high-profile project at Canary Wharf is a significant win with the installation of Eclipse5 and VIGIL3 voice alarms.
1 Leadenhall
At this prestigious address, our OmniCare system will soon be installed adding to our portfolio of iconic London locations.
1 Portsoken Street
Another exciting win, further establishing our presence in the city with an installation of an Eclipse5 system.
Kings College
We’re delighted to be working with Kings College on their latest project, which will benefit from our OmniCare EVC system.
Sizewell Power Station
Our involvement with Sizewell Power Station marks a major milestone for Baldwin Boxall. The site will be protected by Eclipse5 and OmniCare systems.

Retirement
We bid a fond farewell to Dave Dixon, who, after almost 28 years of service, has retired.
Dave has been a part of the Baldwin Boxall journey and has seen many changes and growth to the business. He plans to sail around the Caribbean and explore many other wonderful countries. We’re all rather jealous, however wish him the very best for his retirement.

Introducing Volunteering Days at Baldwin Boxall
We are excited to announce a new initiative at Baldwin Boxall: Staff Volunteering Days! Each calendar year, staff are granted a day to volunteer in the community. Whether it’s fundraising at an event, volunteering at an animal shelter, or participating in a charity sports event, staff can support a cause close to their hearts.
