Message From Finance Director Richard Frost
The months and years continue to go by in a flash. For me personally, I will be celebrating my 5-year anniversary with the business next year and I can scarcely believe where the time has gone!
Reflecting, I am able to mentally separate this time into the ‘COVID’ years, followed by the ‘Global Component Shortage’ years and now, perhaps for the first time, we have some calmer waters ahead.
Despite these challenges, I am immensely proud of what we have achieved as a business over this period, with all financial KPIs trending in the right direction and the development of our onsite infrastructure complete, enabling us to meet our growing customer needs from our existing Crowborough base which has been our home for the past 35 years.
We look forward to 2025 with immense positivity, with the notable highlight set to be the launch of our new EVC system OmniCALL, with our team working hard to finalise the launch over the coming months ahead of a summer release.
Our R&D team are working hard on other developments in the background and we look forward to sharing more details of these at an appropriate point in the near future.
Thank you to everyone who visited us at recent Education Estates and London Build exhibitions. It was great to connect with both new and familiar faces, with many exciting developments to discuss.
We will be exhibiting at the Intersec exhibition in Dubai in January and returning to the Fire Safety Event in Birmingham in April, so please get in touch with our Sales and Marketing teams if you would like to secure an appointment at either of these events to discuss your requirements.
Thank you to all who provided feedback in the recent customer satisfaction survey. Of the responses received, 100% rated their customer experience as good to excellent (83% excellent) and 96% of you indicated that you were quite or extremely likely to recommend us (78% extremely likely), which is a fantastic compliment and a testament to the hard work and dedication of our employees of whom we couldn’t be prouder!
We hope to build on a record 2024 for the business as we enter into 2025 and beyond and look forward to working closely with you all to deliver on your needs and increase the application of life safety systems throughout the World.
OmniCALL Ready For The Starting Line In 2025
Baldwin Boxall is gearing up for an exciting year in 2025! If you’ve been following our journey, you’ll know that we’ve already introduced our next-generation Emergency Voice Communication (EVC) product, OmniCALL, to great acclaim at events like the Fire Safety Event, Education Estates, and most recently, London Build. The response has been overwhelmingly positive, and we’re thrilled by the anticipation surrounding its launch.
As part of our broader Marketing campaign, we’ve also unveiled the OmniCALL video, set to accompany the official product launch in early 2025. The video offers a concise overview of all the key details, and we’d love for you to take a look and we’d be delighted to hear your thoughts!
OmniCALL is set to transform the EVC market. Baldwin Boxall has developed the industry’s first combined 2-core loop wired and radial technology, with non-polarity dependence. This groundbreaking innovation will be a game-changer for installations, making them simpler, more cost-effective, and more efficient than ever before.

Customer Satisfaction Survey - The Results Are In!
At Baldwin Boxall, delivering exceptional service is at the heart of everything we do. We’re thrilled to share the fantastic results from our 2024 Customer Satisfaction Survey!
Of the responses received, 100% rated their customer experience as good to excellent, with 80% marking it as excellent. Additionally, 95% indicated they were quite or extremely likely to recommend us, with 78% falling in the “extremely likely” category.

Chris Hartup Takes Centre Stage Across London’s Theatreland
With the Adelphi Theatre installation wrapped up, we’ve completed Baldwin Boxall systems across the entire LW Theatres portfolio: Theatre Royal Drury Lane, London Palladium, His Majesty’s Theatre, Gillian Lynne Theatre, Cambridge Theatre, and Catherine Street. A show-stopping finale! A standing ovation goes to Rob Costidell and the Winters team for getting us over the line!
Meanwhile over at Twickenham Stadium, the upgrade to OmniCarePLUS is complete, featuring graphics packages, local control panels, and IP-rated Stewards Phones. It’s shaping up to be a winning season!

Spotlight & Big Moves In The North
Ian Newton, our Sales Manager for the Midlands and North, is making waves with a major developer in Manchester, plans are already taking shape, with consultants eyeing a networked OmniCALL system featuring 100 Outstations and 30 Assisted Toilet/Bedroom Alarms.
They are so impressed by the installation savings OmniCALL offers, that they are happy to wait for its release.
Delivery is set for Q3/Q4 2025, with the curtain rising on project completion by the end of 2026. A blockbuster in the making!
Meanwhile, Ian continues to collaborate with Manchester Airport on the OmniCarePLUS upgrade for Terminal 2’s refurbishment—ensuring smooth landings for communication systems in the North!

Education Estates & London Build 2024
It’s been another busy period with our Sales and Marketing teams attending several key exhibitions.
In October and November, we had the opportunity to showcase our products at two major events—one focusing on the education sector and the other within the construction industry. Both Education Estates and London Build were well-attended and proved to be excellent platforms for Baldwin Boxall!
Education Estates
Education Estates was a perfect occasion for us to highlight our extensive expertise in the education sector. With decades of experience, we specialise in providing bespoke systems that cater to the unique needs of educational estates. Our solutions are particularly effective for scenarios such as phased evacuations, lockdowns and delivering precise messaging when it matters most.
London Build
London Build provided the ideal platform to introduce our new product, OmniCALL, to the diverse construction sector. It was also a fantastic opportunity to reconnect with existing customers and meet new ones, all while enjoying Baldwin Boxall’s legendary hospitality at the Plug & Socket shed! With years of experience in the construction industry, our products are trusted and installed in many of the world’s most iconic buildings.
Never ones to let the grass grow under our feet, the Sales and Marketing teams are already busy preparing for the next events scheduled for early 2025. We hope to see you there!!

Jason Allen Takes Baldwin Boxall Global!
Our Export Manager, Jason Allen, has been busy jet-setting and championing Baldwin Boxall around the world!
Recently, he secured an exciting new partnership with Haven Fire & Safety in Dubai. Jason, alongside Ash Wright, Customer Support Specialist, delivered hands-on training to the Haven team—because Baldwin Boxall systems are always better with a hearty dose of expert know-how. And here’s the kicker: we now have full approvals to supply our systems in the UAE, thanks to Anthony Morgan, R&D Director, and his team.
The future looks bright—2025, here we come!
Over in Norway, our demo EVC system has found its home with Hedengren. Training is underway with Ash Wright, our Customer support Specialist to support their rollout across various markets and applications. Even better? We’re collaborating with Hedengren on a social media video to showcase our products, set to debut before the year is out.
With several overseas visits already under our belt, Baldwin Boxall is spreading its wings. Stay tuned—our global stage is growing, and who knows where we’ll land next!
