Welcome to the May edition of our SpeakUp Newsletter!
I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to bring you all the latest developments, news and insights that we’ve curated just for you.
Our recent participation in the Fire Safety Event in Birmingham was a huge success. We proudly unveiled our latest EVC product, OmniCALL, which received rave reviews from industry experts and attendees alike. We anticipate OmniCALL will be available for pre-order in early 2025. Stay tuned for more details as we keep you posted on this groundbreaking product.
Sales & Marketing Director
In addition to our product preview success, we are making significant strides in our operational capabilities.
We have recently moved into a new factory space and are progressing through to phase two of this transition. Soon, our production and dispatch logistics departments will be relocating to this new facility, enhancing our efficiency and capacity to meet growing demand.
Baldwin Boxall continues to experience robust growth, with substantial new orders from our respected partners throughout the world. This growth is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our staff, who consistently contribute to making our company the success it is today.
On a personal note, I am excited to share that myself and a small group of colleagues will be doing our bit for Cancer Research, one of our chosen charity partners, by taking part in the Pretty Muddy 5k obstacle course on Saturday 29th June in Brighton.
Our team, aptly named the “Boggy Bunch,” is eager to contribute to this important cause. If you see us staggering round, give us a cheer! For more details and to support our efforts, please visit our fundraising page.

Factory Expansion Milestone
We are excited to announce the successful completion of the first two phases of our ambitious factory expansion. This significant development has greatly boosted our UK manufacturing capacity, enabling us to meet rising demand and launch our cutting-edge product, OmniCALL, the next generation of EVC systems, globally.
Bob Schulz, Manufacturing Director said:
“This project, is the largest investment in our history to date. The expansion, focusing on our St Florian site, has increased our capacity by approximately 300% supporting our growth plans and providing a modern environment for our team and visitors.”
Dave Spratt, Systems Build Manager, noted:
“The new factory space and improved environment will greatly benefit our operations, allowing us to deliver even higher levels of service to our customers.”
Nick Baldwin, Sales and Marketing Director, highlighted the sustainability features, including a solar roof and EV chargers, aligning with our environmental commitments:
“The solar roof enhances energy efficiency, reflecting our dedication to reducing our environmental footprint” he stated.
This expansion underscores our values to meeting customer needs and maintaining our leadership in the Voice Alarm and Emergency Voice Communication systems industry. With enhanced capabilities, we are poised for continued growth in both domestic and international markets.”

VA/PA Upgrades
The team have been busy assisting in the upgrade of public address and voice alarm systems in:
- 10 Triton Street
- Ropemaker Place
- 110 Bishopsgate (Heron Tower)
- Kings Place Theatre
Further afield, a networked VIGIL3 Voice Alarm system is protecting lives in the Principality Stadium in Wales.
Our global partners have been busy in Australia at the University of Canberra, fitting a VIGIL voice alarm system. This ongoing project is the first grade 1 warning system certified to AS4428.16. Many additional buildings on the campus will benefit from the voice alarm in the future.
