Description

The DTAKIT is a complete emergency assistance/toilet alarm kit for use with OmniCALL, OmniCare and CARE2 EVC systems. Fully compliant with BS 8300-2:2018, the kit contains everything needed to create a compliant toilet alarm zone.

Note: Stainless steel products are not intended for installation in humid areas. For shower rooms and wet areas, use the IP65 rated products.

What’s in the kit

  • Ceiling-mounted pull cord with two fully compliant G-shape pull rings (DTACP / DTASCP)
  • Over-door triangular lens light and sounder (DTAODL / DTASODL)
  • Local reset point with LED and sounder (DTARP / DTASRP)
  • Self-adhesive vinyl disabled WC door sign, blue (DTALAB)
  • Euan’s Guide card

Connect it via an OmniCALL outstation or OCACIF, a BVOCRIF repeater for OmniCare, directly to a CARE2 console, or into a DTA4 four-way control panel with no EVC required. Connect up to two DTAKIT kits to a single point on the EVC panel. The EVC system monitors and battery-backs the alarm, with automatic self-test to keep all sounders and LEDs operational.

Optional ancillary components

Add additional call and reset points to extend the system (note: adding extra components may affect BS 8300-2:2018 compliance, refer to the standard):

  • DTACB / DTASCB: Additional call button
  • DTACBRP / DTASCBRP: Combined call & reset point
  • DTACPW / DTASCPW: Red wall-mounted pull cord (for where a ceiling pull is impractical)
  • DTACBJ / DTASCBJ: Call button with 6.35mm jack socket (for pear push lead connection)

IP65 rated options (for wet rooms and shower areas):

  • DTACPM: IP65 ceiling pull cord (grey)
  • DTACBM: IP65 call button (grey)
  • DTARPM: IP65 reset point (grey)
