Industry Sectors: Stadia & Arenas

Designed to Protect, Entertain & Inform Large Crowds in Stadia & Arenas

Stadia not only host national and international football, rugby, and cricket matches, but also conferences, shows, concerts, and more. These entertainment and sports venues vary in style, but their goal is to provide a safe and controlled environment for the gathering crowds. To achieve this, reliable and clear communication systems are crucial, with the ability to broadcast to different zones at any time.

Our stadia audio management systems are tailored from the VIGIL range of products and meet all current and future standards, including BS5839-8, EN54, BS5839-9, and BS8300 for emergency assistance/toilet alarms. VIGIL Voice Alarm (VA) systems provide a controlled evacuation with pre-recorded voice messages and a durable build quality. The OmniCare or CARE2 (fire/stewards’ telephone and disabled refuge) system adds extra control for a safe evacuation.

A VIGIL voice alarm system allows for flexibility in design and configuration and can be expanded or upgraded in the future. The final system design is determined by factors such as the number of zones, seating arrangements, location, ambient environment, power requirements, and individual specifications.

Our voice alarm systems feature sophisticated yet user-friendly zoning, routeing, and audio path monitoring, as well as dedicated battery backup systems in line with crowd control and life safety standards. Our control options include large format touchscreen control GUI, emergency fireman’s microphone, touchscreen VA control microphone, bespoke control panels, and paging microphones.

Our UK-based design and build facility, large Research & Development department, and dedicated system build department allow us to manufacture control and switching panels to specific requirements, with each project led by an in-house Project Manager.
