IP65 DTAKIT Emergency Assistance Alarm
Emergency Assistance Alarm Kit for OmniCare, OmniCarePLUS, CARE2 or our 4-way control panel
The 3-part alarm kit provides a complete solution for Emergency Assistance Alarm facilities when added to any of our Emergency Voice Communication (EVC) systems or to our 4-way Assistance Alarm Control Panel.
The ‘three-part’ kit comprises of a Pull Cord, Reset Point, and Overdoor Light/Sounder. In addition, the kit includes a blue vinyl self-adhesive WC sign and a Euan’s Guide card (for fitting to the cord to help prevent it from being tied up or generally made inaccessible).
Indication (visual & audible) of an incoming call for assistance is at the connected Control Panel – OmniCare, OmniCarePLUS, CARE2 or 4-way Assistance Alarm Panel. The Call is ‘accepted’ at the Control Panel and ‘reassures’ the caller that help is on the way (both visually and audibly).
The DTAKIT is available in either a white or stainless steel finish, with each part of the kit available to order separately. This adds further flexibility by providing the ability to mix & match finishes – including our waterproof IP65 products.
Adding Emergency Assistance Alarms to an EVC system provides the ability to monitor activity on these points and two-way communication with the standard outstations on an EVC system.

- The ‘three-part’ Emergency Assistance Alarm Kits are connected to the system via a repeater/interface unit (BVOCRIF)
- Up to two Kits can be connected to one line (will show as one point on the control panel)
- As an alternative, one Kit and an additional ceiling pull can be fitted to one line
- It is possible to add other optional products to the Kit*
*Adding additional points to the standard DTAKIT may result in non-compliance with BS8300. Dependent upon the system layout, some components may be unmonitored
- The Kits are connected directly to the control console
- Up to two Kits can be connected to one line (will show as one point on the control panel)
- As an alternative, one Kit and an additional ceiling pull can be fitted to one line
- It is possible to add other optional products to the Kit*
