OmniCare Control Panel
OmniCare EVC Control Panel for two-way communication with the outstations on the system.
OmniCare is a loop-wired, addressable Emergency Voice Communication system enabling Disabled Refuge, Fire Telephones, Combined (Disabled Refuge & Fire Telephone) Outstations, Steward Telephones and Emergency Assistance/Toilet Alarms to be connected to a single panel.
OmniCare can be easily networked with multiple control panels on a system. This enables local zone/area control with gatehouse or management control on a master panel.
The Control Panel features an output for an external call indicator, designed for use in situations where the control panel is mounted in an unmanned area. Using this output, a remote indicator can be fitted in a location where it is visible and can be heard such as in a reception area.
The output has a programmable delay feature so that calls answered at the panel are not relayed to the remote indicators.
Panel options include sizes from four-way up to 127-way and are supplied with the relevant batteries for backup should the mains power fail. All panels are available with either grey or stainless steel finish.Â
Designed to be wall mounted, with the option to either flush mount (separate bezel required) or rack mount (rack mounting kit required).
OmniCare has been designed and built to meet BS5839-9:2021 and BS8300-2:2018 (for the emergency assistance/toilet alarm).
OmniCare EVC system is an alternative to our popular (radial-wired) CARE2 EVC system.
Features
- One master and multiple slave panels can be linked on one system (panels are configured on installation).
- Control Panels are supplied as surface mountable units with the option to flush mount by using a, separately available, bezel.
- Each Control Panel features a lockable glazed door.
- Control Panel sizes from 4 to 127-way available with a choice of grey or stainless steel finish.
- The Control Panel features an output for an external call indicator. The output includes a programmable delay feature. (Remote lamp/buzzer available – code BVOCCA.)
- Link to fire detection system prevents hoax calls from disabled refuge (toilet alarms and fire telephones remain active). Can be completely or partly overridden.
- Indicators for: in use/occupied, call, fault, power, charger and speech volume.
- Handset volume control.
- ‘Listening’ facility.
- Communication is speech steered (disabled refuge remotes) and full duplex speech (fire telephones and emergency telephones).
Remote Lamp & Buzzer (BVOCCA)
- For areas where master console is not manned permanently.
- Indicates a call to master control panel.
- Single gang unit with red LED, sounder and buzzer mute.
- Stainless steel finish.
- Settings to allow call delay of up to 90 seconds (carried out at master console).

OmniCarePLUS makes it possible to install especially large Disabled Refuge/Fire Telephone Emergency Voice Communication (EVC) systems with up to 2,048 outstations on a single loop-wired system.
